About Us

Procesadora Frutícola S.A. – PROFRUSA
is an agro-industrial company that officially
began its operations on June 15, 1972.

The company was formed by a group of agricultural investors and lemon producers from the Motupe and Olmos areas of the Lambayeque region, with the purpose of making use of lemon surpluses that are not marketed for direct consumption.

In 1990, PROFRUSA inaugurated its lemon peel dehydration plant.

Business management is focused on the production area, due to the need to comply with international quality requirements and to ensure an adequate supply of raw material, which is lemon.

PROFRUSA’s market is broad, and its production is supplied to the North American and European markets.

It is worth highlighting that the company has achieved market leadership thanks to its compliance with international quality standards.

We are a producer and marketer of Distilled Lemon Essential Oil and Dehydrated Lemon Peel (Citrus aurantifolia), with a focus on growth and sustained profitability. We are committed to meeting the needs and expectations of our international clients, generating employment in the District of Olmos, and contributing to the country’s development process.
